Software and its processes should take into account the goals and needs of the user to achieve the objective of the software with effectiveness, efficiency, and to the satisfaction of the user. Research performed in Human Factors such as learning, memory recall, building system metaphors, consistency, and effects of system feedback are transferred into product design. Developers are focused on the content of applications, but often they underestimate the importance of the user experience and capabilities. It is imperative and beneficial for developers to consider the human element in every line of code they write.

Our Role

At IAA we involve Human Factors engineers throughout the entire design process, from the beginning and during testing and all iterations. This is the most effective way to investigate, understand, and uncover the Human Factors flaws in any application or software design. End-users will work and interact with the product interface and share their views and concerns. Our research, such as learning, memory recall, building system metaphors, consistency, and effects of system feedback, are transferred into actionable recommendations and product design.
